Hi everyone,
I'm sharing this on behalf of my close friend, Sarah Hammer-Kroening — someone who would never ask for help like this on her own, even when she truly needs it. Sarah is strong, independent, and a devoted mother who shows up for others without hesitation.
On May 14, 2025, Sarah suddenly developed severe pain in her left arm. By morning her arm had turned blue and she could no longer move her hand. She was life-flighted for emergency vascular surgery — five surgeries in four days saved her arm.
Since then, Sarah has had seven surgeries in total, with at least one more ahead. Complications paralyzed her diaphragm and she now relies on supplemental oxygen for much of the day.
The 2025 medical bills are significant, and a 2026 procedure has been denied by insurance. Funds raised will go directly toward surgical bills, prescriptions, travel for specialized appointments, and rehabilitation.
